Sudipta Saha

Sudipta Saha is an accomplished leader with more than 35 years of experience in the ceramics industry. He currently serves as President Operations & Business Head – Industrial Products & Natural Resources at H&R Johnson (India), a division of Prism Johnson Limited.

Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to the transformation of the Indian ceramics sector, with a strong focus on innovation and the development of advanced functional ceramic products, including antimicrobial, antistatic, water-repellent, high-friction and X-ray radiation-shielding tiles. He has also contributed to the growth of the Industrial Products & Natural Resources business, helping establish Endura as a recognised brand in India's innovative industrial raw materials segment.

Saha served as President of the Indian Ceramic Society (2023–2024) and formerly as Vice President of the Indian Institute of Ceramics, where he is also a Fellow. He has also been involved in technical standardisation and research through the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and research advisory councils including CSIR-AMPRI and CSIR-CGCRI.

He has contributed to strategic projects in collaboration with CSIR-CGCRI and BARC, strengthening the company's involvement in research and innovation in strategic sectors. Under his leadership, the company's R&D Centre received accreditation and recognition from the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. He has also received several prestigious Indian awards for his contribution to ceramics and related fields, including the Prof. Sasadhar Ray Memorial Award and the Dr. Madan Gopal Bhagat Award.
