Kai Arendholz

Kai Arendholz has over 20 years of experience in the yacht building and composite industry. His career began with an apprenticeship as boatbuilder, followed by the prestigious German “Meisterschule” (Master Classes) in this craft. Early in his career, Kai worked in Australia on composite race yachts as part of a business sponsor and emigration program, returning to Germany in 2008 due to the global financial crisis and its impact on the high-end race yacht sector. 

Leveraging his technical expertise and practical mindset, Kai transitioned into technical sales and support at a German marine distributor specializing in composite materials and yacht paints. In 2017, he joined DIAB’s sales team in Germany, focusing on the industry and transportation market. 

After a brief period at Arkema company Bostik as Key Account & Business Development Manager for General Transportation in the DACH region (2021/22), Kai returned to DIAB in January 2023. Since then, he has been responsible for business development in the Industry segment. In September 2025, he was appointed to his current group-level role, leading business development, marketing, and product management.
