Carlos Iglesias has been CEO and founding partner of Runroom since 2003, a technology and creative consultancy with a team of 50 professionals specialising in customer experience, digital products and AI adoption. He has been named by Forbes Spain as one of the 100 most creative people in the business world.
He holds a degree in Multimedia Engineering from La Salle Campus Barcelona. For more than twenty years, he has combined his role as company director with strategic consulting for the management teams of industrial and service companies. His work focuses on distinguishing between initiatives that generate real business impact and those that merely generate activity: most organisations start with the resources available to them and end up measuring what they do, rather than what they change.
He is Associate Professor in the Marketing Department at Esade and Academic Director at Esade Executive Education, where he has created the inDIGITAL, Business Agility and Corporate Innovation programmes.
He is the author of the book Impact-Driven Growth, in which he shares the first AI-native framework for strategic thinking, featuring a six-layer interconnected architecture where everything begins with the impact that needs to be created, with artificial intelligence amplifying the process at each stage.
A member of DEC Association with Professional Certification in Customer Experience, he has served as a judge for international customer experience and innovation awards. In 2018, he launched Realworld, the podcast on people-centred innovation, with OVER 7000 listens a month and a 5/5 rating on apple podcasts.
