Global Key Account Manager
Fernando has spent more than two decades helping companies successfully address major energy and industrial challenges. An Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he has built his entire professional career at Iberdrola, contributing to strategic international projects and leading initiatives that combine technology, investment, profitability and long-term vision. His experience has enabled him to work across the full spectrum of the industry, from complex engineering projects to high-impact business decision-making.
Throughout his career, he has managed multidisciplinary teams, led large-scale energy projects across Europe and the Americas, and negotiated agreements in highly demanding environments. This combination of technical expertise and business acumen has given him a valuable perspective on how innovation, energy efficiency and sustainability can be transformed into genuine drivers of growth and competitiveness for companies.
He currently leads the development of industrial decarbonisation opportunities at Iberdrola, supporting companies across a wide range of sectors in defining their energy transition strategies. His work focuses on identifying viable and economically sound solutions that help reduce energy costs, enhance competitiveness and advance more sustainable production models. This role places him in a privileged position to share a practical and realistic perspective on how decarbonisation can become a business opportunity and a source of value creation for Spanish industry.
