The agreement will strengthen cooperation between the Spanish and Italian know-how
The Chamber of Commerce of Castellón and ACIMAC, the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics, have established a strategic partnership aimed to launch the “Global Ceramics Talks” strengthening the international reach of IGNITE, the International Congress on Ceramics Innovation, on one hand, and the know-how of the European technological and design companies on the other.
The agreement has been established with a clear long-term perspective and provides a framework for cooperation between the two institutions to promote innovation, research, technological development, training and knowledge transfer, while also strengthening ties between two of Europe’s leading ceramic ecosystems.
This partnership responds to the need to strengthen cooperation between the world’s leading ceramic clusters in the face of shared challenges such as industrial competitiveness, sustainability, energy transition, digitalisation, advanced materials, artificial intelligence and the evolution of international markets.
The agreement will allow to organise events, meetings and other activities related to the ceramic sector, both during the Ignite congress, the Tecna trade-show and, overall, at other times throughout the years. These initiatives may take place in different international settings and will aim to create opportunities for dialogue and cooperation around the key strategic, technological and industrial challenges facing the ceramic sector.
Global Ceramics Talks by Acimac and Ignite aims to be a permanent international platform for strategic dialogue, innovation, technology and the industrial development of the ceramic sector.
IGNITE to Be Presented at TECNA
The partnership will have its first visible expression in Italy during TECNA, the leading international events dedicated to technologies and solutions for the ceramic industry, bringing together companies and professionals from numerous countries in Rimini.
As part of the event, ACIMAC will present IGNITE, the International Congress on Ceramics Innovation, with the aim of introducing the project to key players in the international ceramic industry and strengthening its profile beyond Spain.
This initiative will bring IGNITE closer to a particularly strategic environment for the sector, taking advantage of the presence in Italy of representatives from some of the world’s leading ceramic markets, companies and organisations.
The presentation at TECNA will also serve as a prelude to the first edition of IGNITE, which will take place in Castellón on 28 and 29 September, bringing together companies, professionals, researchers, institutions and experts to address the key challenges that will shape the future of the ceramic industry.
