The International Congress on Ceramics Innovation strengthens its business support just over a month before the event takes place in Castellón

Pamesa, Cajamar and Forcol have joined IGNITE as new sponsors. The International Congress on Ceramics Innovation, organised by Castellón Chamber of Commerce, will take place in Castellón on 28 and 29 September.

The addition of these three new sponsors further strengthens the business support for an event that, over two days, will bring together professionals, companies, researchers and experts connected to the ceramics industry to address the key challenges facing the sector.

Pamesa is one of Spain’s leading business groups in the ceramic industry. Based in the province of Castellón, the group manufactures and markets ceramic products and has a strong presence in both domestic and international markets.

Cajamar is a leading financial institution within Spain’s cooperative banking sector. It provides financial services to individuals, self-employed professionals, companies and a wide range of productive sectors, and has historically maintained close ties with the business and economic communities in the regions where it operates.

Forcol is a brand of Origen, the construction materials division of Simetría Grupo, specialising in solutions for the construction sector. Its product range includes cementitious adhesives, mortars, self-levelling products, flexible grouts and other materials manufactured at its own facilities.

The Congress will bring together manufacturers, suppliers, industry leaders, researchers, architects, designers and professionals from different international markets. The programme will feature 35 papers selected from submissions to the international call for papers, 15 scientific posters, five keynote lectures and five panel discussions.

Among the leading names on the programme is Marco Simoni, Director of the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), a leading Italian think tank specialising in international affairs. He will deliver IGNITE’s opening keynote lecture, focusing on Europe’s geostrategic challenges in an age of uncertainty. IGNITE will also welcome Avelino Corma, winner of the Prince of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research and an internationally renowned figure in the field of chemistry.

The addition of Pamesa, Cajamar and Forcol provides further momentum to the growing business support behind IGNITE ahead of the Congress on 28 and 29 September.
