The International Congress on Ceramics Innovation IGNITE, continues to gain top-tier support for its inaugural edition. The event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services, and Navigation of Castellón, has officially confirmed that PortCastelló will join as a strategic sponsor. This alliance directly links the province’s main logistics platform with a forum aimed at redefining the technological and sustainable future of the ceramics industry.

The IGNITE event will take place September 28 - 29, is shaping up to be a key event for the sector. The participation of the Port of Castellón highlights the interdependence between ceramic production and logistics efficiency, a decisive factor in maintaining the sector’s competitiveness in international markets.

The Castellón Chamber of Commerce has welcomed this partnership, emphasizing that PortCastelló’s support goes beyond institutional backing, as it “represents a fundamental pillar in the ceramics value chain.” Logistics and exports, together with innovation at the plant level, are key drivers enabling the Castellón ceramics sector to maintain its global leadership.

“The presence of PortCastelló at IGNITE raises the ambition of this first congress. We cannot talk about ceramic innovation without talking about the infrastructure that connects us to the world,” said the president of the Chamber, Mª Dolores Guillamón.

The program for this first edition of IGNITE has been designed to provide tangible answers to the current needs of the industry, structured
