CALL FOR PAPERS

IGNITE'26 is open to any field within the international ceramics industry. No paper will be rejected if it is innovative, rigorous, and provides technical or strategic value, even if its subject matter does not exactly coincide with the priority areas of this edition.

The conference places special emphasis on contributions that address the major structural challenges currently facing the ceramics industry in an environment of energy, technological, and geopolitical transformation.

Papers that provide viable solutions for moving towards a more competitive, decarbonized, and resilient industry will be valued, including those proposals that enable the successful management of transitional periods marked by volatility in energy costs and supply chains.

Likewise, papers related to the deep integration of digitalization in industrial processes, the application of artificial intelligence and advanced automation in the areas of management, production, design, and marketing, as well as in industrialized installation and construction processes, will be considered particularly relevant.

The conference also maintains its interest in the development of advanced ceramic materials, new functionalities, smart surfaces, and high-performance construction solutions, including their integration into industrialized building systems, BIM processes, and parametric design.

Contributions in the areas of sustainability, circular economy, eco-design, life cycle analysis, and traceability will also be valued, as well as those works that incorporate approaches or technologies from other industrial sectors that may be transferable to the ceramic industry.

Works aligned with these strategic themes will be given special consideration in the configuration of the scientific and technical program of the conference.
